ready for the next step beyond bootcamp? apply for a gesture internship.

bootcamp is only the first step in realizing your early career potential. now you need to practice mission mindset on real problems.

interns at gesture start as bootcamp interns, learning firsthand how we deliver bootcamp. they move on to learn the gesture project method, built on mission mindset, and apply that method to project management, branding and marketing, human resources, technical and administrative operations, and other areas. these are the problems that all real organizations face, and this is what it means for gesture to be a real student-powered startup: students will be doing that real work.

because gesture is in the early launch stage, interns will have an accelerated opportunity to grow into higher-level roles, supporting bootcamp and other projects in the same quarter.

bootcamp interns will work up to 10 hours per week, for the duration of the quarter. the bootcamp intern position is unpaid, because as a transition from bootcamp, it remains part internship and part training experience. but we are building a path to scholarship and paid internship opportunities at higher levels.

interns will meet every Monday at 4pm PST for the duration of the quarter, as well as several other hours of scheduled weekly meetings, as well as ad hoc individual and team work. (this should sound familiar to you.)

many internships invoke the school mindset just as much as school itself. this is not one of those internships. that’s why we limit our internships to bootcamp graduates. this is your chance to prove that you are more than a student, for a purpose bigger than school.

if you are ready, contact your manager and convince them. we’ll consider applications until we have filled the cohort.
